A stripe only holds if the cut height is right for the season, the blade is sharp, and somebody walked the property before the mower came off the trailer. Most of our customers started with the mowing and kept adding to it. It is cheaper and it is tidier, because the people doing the tree work in October are the people who mowed around that tree all summer.

Two jobs, named
The calls that come in on a deadline.
A fair amount of our work is somebody with a date on it. An agent with a listing going live, an owner with a city notice, a property that has to photograph well on Thursday. Those jobs get scheduled against the deadline, not against the rota.
A foreclosure property, cleared before the fines landed
Short notice, an overgrown lot, and a clock running on a municipal notice. The lawn got taken care of quickly enough to avoid the penalty, and the billing was worked out afterwards rather than made a condition of showing up.
A&A Lawncare helped us out at the last minute with a foreclosure property and did an excellent job. They were able to step in quickly to get the lawn taken care of and help us avoid potential fines.
